GD can be held in two ways, one is debate like GD and the other is just a bunch of people telling their views in a sequence! Both ways GD is simple, as the evaluator is just going to expect a maximum of 4 to 5 minutes of speaking from you!

- You don’t have to fight to win, definitely not in a GD. Show that you can respect others opinions and put forth yours in a genuine way.
- You still have no clue about the topic? It happens, happened to me! ;) All you have to do is sit back and observe. Just listen to the points that has been shared, it gives a quick understanding! Now all that you have to do is mix and match! Copy a little, add a little, and bring out the author in you! And it’s done!
- You don’t have to agree to every opinion shared, if you find it unacceptable, Say it. But be polite. You could communicate it in such a way that it isn’t offensive. Similarly if you find some points are good enough, try to welcome them!
- Always remember in a GD people doesn’t really concentrate on the content of the speech, what matters is how you talk. Try to speak in simple sentences so it is easy to understand. Avoid grammatical mistakes and be audible!
