Materials Engineering 4. Materials Technology 5. Metallurgical and Materials Engineering OR M.Tech./M.E. in any of the branches with first division at both B.E./ B.Tech. and M.E./M.Tech. levels
Desirable : Preference may be given to those who have M.Tech degree in one of the above branches.

Qualification : M.Sc. in Physics with first division along with NET/GATE qualification
Desirable : Prior research experience in educational or R&D organization.
