First step to crack a Indian HR is to hold a simple and elegant resume/cv.I actually gave some tips regarding preparing a simple & elegant resume. So what ever you have in your resume is just about you .So i will start my 10 step process to crack an Indian HR.
So first get yourself prepared with an simple and elegant resume.If your resume is neat &clear then the HR will have positive frame on you.So first step is impress with a elegant resume.
Then if your resume is short listed you will be called up for interview ,so it is clear that you have been called up to the interview because the company likes your profile.So now its up to you to prepare yourself for the match day( interview day)
How to prepare yourself for an interview ? To succeed in whatever the field it may be you got to plan yourself.So the day before you attend the interview just take a notebook and start preparing with what all you can expect from the HR point of view.(think yourself as the interviewer)
Next if you are a fresher and you have no interview experience just try attending few interviews before you attend your dream jobs interview.If you have any BPO's near by your place just go there and have a small practice or if you have your friend/family member with you just get tried up with your mock interview.

Now before the match day (interview day) get in front of mirror.Actually I never attended any interview because i underestimated myself that i wont be able to handle a HR ,I cant stand and talk in a GD(group discussion).So I never tried until one fine day when it became a must & i had to get a job.So this is what i did ,I went in front of the mirror and started preparing like how to greet the HR and which way addressing the HR would make me look good.
Next , the first thing the HR is going to ask is the trademark question of every Indian HR -"Please tell about yourself" , so I thought preparing well for this question will give me a confidence booster before getting into the technical round.Communication is the most important factor.Communication does not mean its talking in proper grammatical English,its just how well you present yourself in a cool and casual way.
Don't over prepare yourself for technical interview , because what you study might not be the question the HR would rise.So just have a be confident enough in your core or field of interest.Also make sure you describe your project neatly(be fluent).
Be sure to have a two way conversation.Raise few questions to the HR if he stays still in few moments(Don't keep speaking)
