Company Profile:

The Tamil Nadu Water Supply and Drainage Board (TWAD Board) is a statutory body formed by Government of Tamil Nadu on 14.4.71. It is responsible for the implementation of providing Water Supply and Sewerage facilities to the public of the entire state of Tamilnadu except Chennai Metropolitan area.

The EDP Unit is implementing Information Technology based applications in TWAD Board. Online integrated egovernance systems are developed with MIS and implemented in phased manners for eTender, Project Management, Human Resource Management, Financial Accounting etc. TWAD Board websites and RWH Website are hosted for dissemination of information to the public.

• Assistant Engineer Civil Engineering - 75 Posts
• Assistant Engineer Mechanical Engineering - 25 Posts

Scale of Pay: Rs.9300-34800+ G.P.5100

Educational Qualification: 

• Assistant Engineer Civil Engineering - Basic Pay 9300 Grade Pay 5100 in Pay Band II category - BE / BTech Civil Engineering
• Assistant Engineer Mechanical Engineering - Basic Pay 9300 Grade Pay 5100 in Pay Band II category - BE / BTech Mechanical Engineering

Age Limit:

• Minimum age 18 years
• UR 30 years
• BC / BC Muslim / MBC / DNC 35 years
• SC / SCA / ST 35 years
• PwD UR 40 years
• PwD BC / BC Muslim / MBC / DNC 45 years
