APTRANSCO came into existence on 1.02.1999.From Feb 1999 to June 2005 APTRANSCO remained as Single buyer in the state-Purchasing power from various Generators and selling it to DISCOMs in accordance with the terms and conditions of the individual PPAs at Bulk Supply Tariff(BST) rates.
Subsequently,in accordance with the Third Transfer Scheme notified by GOAP,APTRANSCO ceased to do power trading and has retained powers of controlling system operations of Power Transmission
As per AP Reorganization Act 2014, APTRANSCO was divided into TSTRANSCO and APTRANSCO. Accordingly TSTRANSCO was established as a Company w.e.f 2-6-2014 for the State of Telangana.

Assistant Engineer /Electrical

Qualification :

Must possess a Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering /Electrical and Electronics Engineering of a Recognized University in India established or incorporated by or under a Central Act, Provincial Act, or a State Act (or) an Institution recognized by the University Grants Commission/AICTE (or) any other qualification recognized as equivalent thereto (or) a Pass in Section-‘A’ & ‘B’ of A.M.I.E. examination conducted by Institute of Engineers in Electrical/ Electrical and Electronics Engineering.

Qualification :

Must possess a Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering of a Recognized University in India established or incorporated by or under a Central Act, Provincial Act, or a State Act (or) an Institution recognized by the University Grants Commission/AICTE (or) any other qualification recognized as equivalent thereto (or) a Pass in Section-‘A’ & ‘B’ of A.M.I.E. examination conducted by Institute of Engineers in Civil Engineering.

Pay Scale : Rs.41155-63600

Age: Minimum 18 years and maximum 44 years. The age is reckoned as on 01.07.2015 .

Fee: (Remittance of fee) Each applicant must pay Rs.100/- (Rupees One Hundred Only) towards Online Application Processing Fee. This apart, the applicants have to pay Rs.120/- (Rupees One Hundred And Twenty Only) towards Examination Fee. However, the Applicants belonging to SC/ST/BC Communities and PH are exempted from payment of examination fee.

Centers For The Written Examination :

The written examination for recruitment of Assistant Engineer/ Elecl., & Assistant Engineer Civil will be held at different centers located only in Hyderabad and Secunderabad.
